Ruine Wolfstein

On our drive to Nuremburg we noticed an impressive castle ruin overlooking the city of Neumarkt i.d.Opf. Naturally, it went onto our list of places to visit - and in April we finally made it.

Weather was absolutely gorgeous, as we drove the 70 km on the A3 from Regensburg towards Nuremburg, taking exit Neumarkt and driving up the hill. Just a short hike later we stood on top and started exploring the castle ruins.
