It was the annual Buergerfest (citizens festival), with music, shops and beer available all through downtown.
Saturday was fairly entertaining to watch from our window. The weather was a bit flaky, and every hour the sky just opened up and drenched the people coming from the parking lot. I knew another downpour started whenever I heard squealing from the street...
Sunday was much nicer, the weather playing along, and thousands of people coming out. It was absolutely perfect (except that the missus was missing).
I'm looking forward to a few more festivals this summer.
