We parked close to the New Castle and passed by this abandoned factory building - creepy and fascinating.

Then we went to the New Castle - shining bright white in the sunlight.

I'm still amazed how the knights could see through their helmets - and all the weight they had to carry. They were absolutely helpless once they were pulled off their horses...

The museum has awesome military artefacts from the middle ages all the way to today - suits of armour and machine guns. Old swords and Nazi decorations.
Some old fortification shows battle damage from more recent times: the scarring was caused by an air attack in WW2.
