We Haven't Forgotten About You!

It's been a while since we wrote the last entry. And we have a perfectly good reason for that - our son, Emil, was born. The last day that Matthias wrote the last entry (May 5th) is the day my water broke and two days later our son was born. Our lives haven't changed much except the sleepless nights and the joy that he brings us. He has enhanced our lives with the colourful episodes our diaper changing. But he really is fun to have around. He's at the point where he smiles a lot and makes your heart melt when you look at his teethless gums. And have I mentioned how cute he is when he spits up?

We do have a lot of stories to tell but not tonight. We need to catch up on some entries but it's hard when you're typing with one hand while holding the baby with the other. I still haven't mastered the skill of typing fast with one hand. Well, Emil has fallen asleep in my arms (again) and I should put him to bed. Hopefully he will sleep longer than 10 minutes (more like the whole night) without waking up in his own bed. And did I mention that my mother-in-law is visiting for the weekend? She might babysit tomorrow while Matthias and I go car shopping. We'll see how that pans out.
